User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Excellent workout!
This is great mix of Yoga and Martial Arts workout. I very much like Cameron’s down to earth style. The workout has clear and easy to follow instructions and is apt for the beginner-intermediate range. I like the flexibility of the 30, 40 or 50 minute lenght that can accomodate your schedule.

The kit contains the above mentioned workouts, an eating guide mostly based on fruits and vegetables and which I particularly did not care for since I thought it very restrictive (extremely light breakfast progressing to a heavier meal). It also includes a 56 min. relaxation CD titled Self Empowerment with Cameron’s soothing voice and music by Jonathan Wilson

5 Stars Budokon Weight Loss system review–outstanding !!!
This is by far the best workout that I have ever purchased. It combines Tai Chi with Yoga for the perfect workout. Cameron Shayne walks you thru every step of this video. You will see results right away. My sister bought it first, and I liked it so well that I bought it for myself and both of my daughters. Friends started noticing a difference in my shape and ordered it themselves!! You can’t miss with this video!! I am watching for Cameron’s next video and will buy it immediately upon release.

5 Stars Efficiency of Accelerated 40 min program worth the price!
I enjoyed the Beginners Budokon so much that I thought this might be a step up. It is very similar, so the “redundant” comments in other reviews ring somewhat true, however the accelerated 40 minute workout is a perfect beginning to my day. Shayne doesn’t waste time in this program and gets right to work. Not a big fan of fluff in my workouts. Gaiam typically doesnt’ put you through a “DVD remote control workout” trying to get to the menu.

I read the nutritional guide and it is steering followers towards an organic and mostly vegetarian lifestyle. Great advice, but seemingly based more on personal beliefs than hard science. (Not my cup of (heavily caffeinated) tea.)

For whatever reason, I’ve found that I am willing to get up at the crack of dawn to spend time with this one…an endorsement I can’t give to any other exercise products. I’ve had to add some more intense cardio and some strength/sculpt training, but as far as a motivating and energizing base to a program-this is it.

4 Stars one dvd would do
this is a good workout - i enjoy doing the yoga & the martial arts - and for that reason i’m glad i made the purchase. however, if one were to only buy one program; either the weight loss system (3dvd’s) OR the budokan for beginners (1 dvd) rather than the deal offered for both packages (4 dvd’s total), you would be just as well off. i discovered that the workouts are basically the same on all; the main difference is the number of reps & amount of explanation. otherwise as far as i’m concerned they’re all the same. so if you were looking forward to learning different/more advanced yoga poses or martial arts moves as you progress, save your money.

3 Stars Budokon weight loss system
I loved the workout, it’s a fun, simple and efective program, but both DVD’s contain basically the same thing, if you want to buy the Budokon weight loss system I would recommend you get only the Budokon DVD, you’ll get the same for less price.
